Snails not coming out of shell?

The tank has never had meds used in it. The fry all stay in the corner opposite of where the snails have chosen to land. I suppose I could try some bottom feeder pellets, but I am hesitant to fowl the water any more than the fry food already does.

This is driving me mad. The conditions are fine, yet they don't come out!

The gravel in the fry tank is white, so the light seems pretty bright. Could that be the problem? But they don't even move at night when it's dark...

Yes...

...they are in the same place all the time. I thought I had said that before.

I got them from Misjinkzd.

There is absolutely no explanation. This is driving me crazy! Is there anything else that I can do to provide you with more information? What is the missing piece of the puzzle?

I had a similar problem with mine, and they didn't make it. The two things that I wondered about most were 1) didn't acclimate them slowly enough and the shock was too much and wore them down after time (they lasted a but less than a week - but originally had come out and explored the tank), and 2) possibly copper in my pipes - so have now started adding conditioner to help with that.

Do you have anything else you could put them in?

A different tank?
Even if it's just a bucket with (treated with the same temp) tap water. Just to see if they will come out.
