We just got a great deal on a 2000 Dodge Neon for our daughter to take to college. Hope it gets the gas mileage they said it would!

Right now I drive a 2002 Mazda Protege 5. But I have had a few cars through my life that are better and worse.
I had in order by year of vehicle not order of ownership.

I love the Protege, it is a great car. Yes it doesnt have a huge amount of power but it has enough for everyday driving. I have no problem passing people on the highway. 0-60MPH in 8.4 seconds isnt too bad in its class. It handles like a dream. And I mean this is coming from somebody who had a 500HP Vette.
The Yamaha was a great bike. Lots of fun and surprisingly comfortable. I loved it. But it was old and I upgraded.
Thanks for the reply and good news on the Protege. I'm hoping to get a reliable, good mpg car before the prices jump way up on these cars. The Corolla and a couple Hondas are also on the check it out list... If, when, I need power and speed, the Vmax is all I will need..labont865 said:
