I got a new spathe from one of my riparium plants. This is the Anubias hastfolia that I have had going for a couple of years now.

I was pretty tickled to see this spathe. I was surprised that an Anubias would have such a fragrant bloom. It was sort of like lilacs, but sweeter.

I have a couple of quick pictures from my 50-gallon setup. Here is the flower of Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis'.

And here is a shot of foliage with the flash.

I have always-ed love the look of rimless planted tanks. Good work.

How much of the Anubias Hastafolia is under water?
This is a great thread. It's so neat to see these plants in a more natural growth pattern.

That A. hastifolia just has the roots and rhizomes underwater. The leaves are up in the air in a 56 Column riparium.

Thanks. It's a beautiful plant. I just got two, so I think I'll try to tie them to some vertical sticks and let the roots dangle in the water (I'm assuming they, like other Anubias, don't like to be planted properly in gravel...)
