You have better eyes & camera skills than I do, lol. Thanks for the pics & dots, we haven't gone there or circling in a while. Ha, like old times!
It sounds like you need to keep your brochis grow out tank up & running. Nice you can sell them in a group. How many did you end up with beside the 2 bent spine 1s? The fry are super cute!
I ended up selling a group of 8, all to the same home so I know they're gonna be happy (can't get brochis splendens here locally anymore)
Tank is getting overgrown
One of the crooked babies. They seem to get on just fine, just extra wiggly
Oh, finally got pics of my one eyed ember tetra. I asked the store specifically to catch that guy when I finished my big group
And some other ember closeups
Eques group. Unfortunately I found one deceased 2 weeks ago. No clue why, but they were full grown adults when I bought them and I've had them for 4 years, so it's possible it was simply age. I will never know.
This photo was a couple days before that. So all 8 in the photo. The one that passed was the big one 2nd from the back on the left side.
Baby brochis in foreground (one of the crooked ones) vs adults
Annnd... I've had a surprise spawn of plecos. These would be hybrids since I've had Flippy identified as Ancistrus Triradiatus and Lorgie Georgie is Ancistrus cf Cirrhosis
I'm leaving them to their own fates, since breeding hybrids was never an intention, but here we are. I'll likely end up selling any that survive to locals and be very clear on their parentage
