Starting up Saltwater! Woo!

Well you asked so here they are...:hypnotized:

I tested the phosphates this morning after a WC and it still came out at .5 so I dunno. The water I put in was at 0 so again I don't know. lol.

After I broke the LR in half to get the mantis shrimp out, the scape I wanted didn't really work so I made the two 'halfs', and I actually like it :D

Alrighty... I'm off for holidays for a week so I've glad wrapped the top of the tank up and put timers on. It will be interesting to see growth at the end of the week.

I will be checking in on my mobile though :)

Thanks! :D Merry Christmas!

Well the girlfriend says there is a bit of brown algea but otherwise its looking good :) I get home in 4 days. I'm actually at the coast and i've been looking in the rockpools. I think I might take home some snails and macro algea. There is some really cool purple/pink macro. But there is only a small amount of it.

Thanks for looking :D

The brown algae is probably diatoms. Normal for a tank starting up. It will go away on it's own.

Yeah, i've had them from the start but they are gradually slowing down :)

I went for a dive today, and got some beautiful abalone to eat. I saw some nice wrasses and rock gobys. Very interesting :)

Whoa! What did I miss? It's really bright now. A lot more colourful. I like it!

Good job, at first when I saw the first photo, I thought that the reflection or whatever was a seahorse, lol.

Haha, yeah added those red mushroom corals and the other ones are coloring up a bit.
