I think it will stay put. You got to use floaty wood to your advantage when you can.

A little better view from the side. The right vertical piece is drilled and zip tied, so it moves a bit too.
I moved stuff a little, and took a couple of pieces out. Might put one back in next water change.
Yes, I like this better. Your water is clearer too. I'm not sure I like the tall right wood, maybe as an anubias or java fern tree.
It's too far off of the wall to be honest. I may try something else with it tomorrow. I am picking up some plants in the afternoon, so I will probably stick with a layout after that.
It is really hard to get a good pic. Dust from the sand has settled. Tannins are still really legally leaching. I really need to get my big sump installed, it will make water changes so much easier.

My nitrite was around 10 ppm last night. I did a 40-50% water change last night, then dosed 2.5 ppm ammonia. This morning am at negligible ammonia and 3 ppm nitrite. I might need to buy fish soon too.
