The 180 arrives! Woot! *56k*

VERY VERY VERY NICE TANK..... Wait, let me wipe the drool off the monitor and the keyboard... *wipe wipe*

That's insane! I want that tank!!! What fish are you going to put in it? Please don't tell me you're going to waste the size tank on 180 neon tetras!!! Buy like 3 oscars and 2 bichirs, and and and....

Sorry for the ranting and raving, but that's a very nice tank!

Good luck! I can't wait to pick up the tank you are replacing, filter and heaters are on their way right now.

We should exchange pictures after both are all up and running.

Just saw a 90g and i thought THAT was huge, this is enormous
twice the size of the 90g
have fun with that one mate :)

Thanks for all the comments everyone, I deeply appreciate it.

Great idea Lauren, I'm really anxious to see what you do with the 80g. It's already emptied and the hoods are cleaned up a bit, and it's ready for pick up ;) .

Buy like 3 oscars and 2 bichirs, and and and....

Actually, it has 6 small oscars
1 Green Terror,
1 Flowerhorn,
2 senegalus bichirs (one is albino),
1 common plec,
1 Gibbiceps plec,
1 TSN,
1 RedTail cat,
a gold severum,
a moonlight gourami,
and a pearl gourami.
These are the fish that I was kind of forced to put in because I couldn't find anybody that wanted them. I'm trying to get rid of them, but I'll keep them until my balas, the angels, and my clowns are large enough to go in the 180.

Tell us what your water bill is now
Well, at the apartments where I live (you should've seen the looks two people had when they saw my uncle and I using a dolly to haul this monster into an apartment, lol) everybody shares the water bill. So I'm sure the neighbors were having nightmares when they heard the water running all night, lol.

Here are some pics of the 180 after I finally got everything in. I didn't rinse the gravel the best I could, but the water isn't that cloudy surprisingly.

1) It's pretty ugly right now, I'll be adding plastic plants, more driftwood, and large rocks soon. I might be able to get dwarf lillies to grow under the light though.

2) That's my planted 10g off to the side, and an eclipse 6 on the floor.

3) Nice and wide, good enoughto house the TSN, and RTC for a while, but not forever :( .

Now remember, this tank is nowhere near being fully setup, but I promise that when it is, it will really be something to look at ;) .

I'm so jealous. I thought I was hot stuff when I got my 75 gallon (which is still cycling). Can't wait to see more pictures. :)

you will at minimum want 2 130W PC lights to grow anything. That is a huge tank and one 48" wont even be bright enought to show all the colors on the fish!!! Good luck I am jealous. I would say turn it into a discus tank with 86F water so when you are sore you can use it as a hot tub.......does your landlord have any problems with that big of a tank? I would almost be worried if the apartment is made for that kind of weight!!! hope you got a python water change system, changing water in my 55 in a pain in the butt
