Here is a picture of the shrimp and how it looks so far. We are getting a bit of a smell from the tank now. It smells like the pet stores do some times. It's not that bad yet. I hope it doesn't get to bad.

The shrimp is still in the tank and looking pretty nasty.
I also added a bag of carbon in the sump after the readings to help clear up the water. There seems to be a light fog in the tank that wont go away.
Well things seem to be going OK. I guess the shrimp is working but it's just a bit slow. I guess that isn't a bad thing. The ammonia seems to be rising by .25 a day. The shrimp has only been in there 3 days. That means it it keeps rising the way it is it will peak in 8 days. The Nitrites are rising also. I don't know if that is why the ammonia is going so slow. Is the nitrites eating the ammonia? Is that why they are rising? Is this normal? Will the ammonia start to rise faster in the next few days or no? I posted the readings from today above so if you have any ideas about how tings are going I would love to hear them. I mean anyone. This is my fist time doing any of this and would like to hear from some people that know allot more then me about this.
Let me refer you back to this chart again. It sounds like it is right on schedule. Actually, it looks like the ammonia should start to rise a little faster. Your on day 3, thats right when it starts upwards.
