Yup. it will take a day or 2 to settle down. It would go faster if you put some fine filter pad and the bottom of your overflow where it enters the sump, but really isn't needed unless you want it to clear up a few hours faster.

Looks natural to me. It is just benificial bacteria as far as I know. But there has to be a reason people don't talk about it anymore, thats kinda what I was asking.100% natural, completely harmless, cannot be overdosed
