The 75gal reef tank cycle has started!!!!!!!

I think we are going to get our first fish tomorrow. Ashlee has a store credit at the LFS for like 5 fish or something. So we are going to use it. It will be cool to get to know the first fish.I think I will like the QT idea. I think it will make it easier to see what the fish are like before they go and hide in the tank. It seems like when anything gets into the tank it will hide for the first few days and maybe more. We have Ashlee's fish in hipo sitting right next to me and it cool. I have almost named then all already. I just hope that none of them have anything hat will make it take longer to get them into the tank.

We had the guy at the LFS that we goto put 2 clowns and 1 yellow watchmen on hold for us but they are coming in tomorrow anyway so I think we will have enough to choose from. I would really like to have a few to look at to get an idea how they act. You know I think I'm gonna feel bad that the QT has no sand in it for the watchmen.

No, I know you can use pipe for them to hide in. We have it in our other tank that is sitting next to me with the fish that have ick. I was saying for the watchmen to sift/eat.

Yeah I just think I'm going to feel bad.

Ok need some help IDing this:

It looks cool and it's very small and fragle. Dose anyone have any ideas?

Oh and here is another shot of Sally light foot. He never lets me see all of him and he watches me. look at his eyes! They look right at you. Freaky! I like him. I just wish he would come out more.

Not sure what that is myself, but it looks cool, and it seems like a perfect home for a cardinal the hang out in if it were bigger.

My yellow watchman has never really sifted sand. It will push it around a little when cleaning out its hole, but thats it. My bluespot on the other hand does sift. The both LOVE mysis, brine, and spirulina shrimp though. They go nuts for it.

I hear you on the Sally.. mine likes to stay like yours.. under ledges like that. Here are a couple pics of mine when it did come out and I had the camera handy.
