THE PLAY: Mafia #16 'Till death do we part...

I will, Ice, when I see something or connect enough dots to make a case. I will not just run something into the ground and turn it into a P***ing contest between 2 or 3 individuals because they don't agree with your opinion.

You may not be big on throwing votes on one person but I have seen you berating others in past games as someone doesn't move their vote to the person(s) of your choice as distancing or not supporting the town, kind of like your vote on night one, even after you had stated you liked the two person voting scheme of the previous game. Just an observation.

It doesn't need to be a case. Any info even pointing towards some suspects is all anyone needs to do. Does us no good for you to hold in things you see.

As for the voting on 2 people scheme I still think its a good idea and why I'd rather not see all the votes pile on Jo.

But last night I didn't feel either was mafia. Liz could be but its hard to know if they were slips or a newb trying to play the game. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt until I see more.Jpap stood out to me more with his twisting of posts. He can claim missing the comma but it doesn't really fit the context of the post. My other suspect was Jo, switching to him wouldn't have made a difference either.

Jo on the other hand knows how to play and is making mafia style mistakes IMO. Thats where my vote will stay.

You voted Liz last night. Why not today? What makes you so sure one day and not the next?

Are you saying im involved in a pissing contest?

RB, i want your opinion. Am i mafia?

Also, good to see that someone else noticed how different ice is playing this game.

I have no knowledge that you are Mafia, I suspect several as leaning that way as I stated in post 438.

I was obviously wrong about DD, but it seems several of us were thinking along the same lines.

It is still a bit early in the game, especially since the number of mafia were effectively doubled less than 24 hrs ago and there hasn't been that much posting.

I do not consider you as a large mafia canidate....I am now having big concerns about Ice, Clown and jpap. SOme of it is still just a gut feel, but depending on who you are and what you are, gut feels are okay if they stated it, but a cop out if others state it.

mistakes? Explain to me what mistakes i've made.

a mistake is defined in the dictionary as:
an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness, insufficient knowledge, etc.

I have made no error caused by poor reasoning. My reasoning was good, as was my knowledge... and i certainly was not careless.

Explain to me how i am making mafia mistakes.

I see the concerns with jo and jpap, as others have posted. I still don't feel Liz is off the hook. I agree it could be she knows more on how to play the game than she alludes to.

And I do not necessarily believe her excuse for the sudden drop in postings.

I am holding a vote right now, since the game dynamics changed so much last night. Three folks who were posting as Innocents are now mafia. It could greatly change their posting style, especially when in communication with a compadre.

For me, the extreme low posters become more suspicious now, especially if they were vocal day 1.

As random as Day one is, I guess I had higher hopes we could have pulled together more and done that two person thing....but it may be more reasonable to use that ploy when the players total numbers are less.

One curiousity here Rb... You state that you were wrong about DD, but you voted for Liz in post 78, the second vote of the game, and never seemed to question DD. What exactly were you wrong about? If you suspected DD why did you keep your vote on Liz?

I do agree with this part of your post very much and have been keeping an eye out also.

I think as it gets closer to night fall they are forced to post and vote. Their explanations will tell us a lot, especially if they go from suspecting someone to now defending them.

or from saying nothing about me... to voting me...

Hook...my post 438 was in response to Joander's question to me, and others, in post 419.

I gave my opinion, stating I had concerns on 6 people, and DD was one of the 6.

I voted for Liz early as a non-poster and later stated normally at a certain point, I would pull the vote since they had finally posted and participated. However her poit of view to refuse the assistance being offered by several, kept mu vote there.

Thanks. I guess my concerns about you are similar to those on Ice, although he seems to be somewhat back to normal. You have yet to really make a stand of any kind. In that post you named what 6 people and said "But please take that with a large grain of salt". I see no commitment to your own ideas. Just going with the flow. I'll probably be hit or lynched for saying this, but I feel it's better to be wrong for the right reasons, than to glide by for the wrong.

I agree with the need to watch close, especially if they don't post at all and come in with a quick "I agree with what others have said" post, and poop a vote.

Kind of a Kuhli/Deputy type style of participation.

I will do my best to at least post a vote for discussion before heading out to work at 5 AM...and get caught up as quickly as I can when I get home.

I still recommend to all that the review the posts from day one, with the knowledge of night ones results. Also go back to my post on the differences of judge's lists and fill in the word innocent by the appropriate players and whatever status you are, as a continuing exercise.
