Thinking about switching to salt...

30 lbs of rock is a fair bit more rock that 30 lbs of wet rock due to the water weight so it will be a decent amount of rock. I would shoot for a minimum of 40 to 50 lbs of rock total so it just depends how much rock you want and how much you want to spend.

40 lbs of pukani, eshopps skimmer, ac110, rodi unit and a koralia 750 on its way. :) tearing down and cleaning up the tank this weekend. getting some caribsea aragonite at the lfs this weekend. Now the wait......

Glad you got the 750. Forgot you asked about the PH. You will most likely need another and maybe even a 1050.

Now turning back now

Its a slippery slope lol. I can see it now, wanting more corals and needing to buy led lights, then a bigger tank. It's going to snowball I'm sure

Dry rock should be here today along with my new bulbs and ro/di unit. Hopefully my kensfish order will be here soon but the tracking number hasn't been updated on it. But t
Pressure washing the rock tonight and should be cycling by the weekend :)

Fun stuff! Makes me want to set up another tank :).

What do you think so far?

photo.JPGAny suggestions? i think the left side needs some work but i like the right.

I have to get a different adapter for the ro, so hopefully by friday ill be filling it up. But personally i think it looks pretty darn good so far. Lol :D

That was fast :nilly:

Nice scape and good looking rock!

Is that a Marineland tank? What are the dimensions?

Yep it's a marineland. It's the same dimensions as a 55 just 24" tall. Black silicone too. I like it, although if it was a 75 it would be better lol
