14-20 drinking...I do enjoy a cold beer...I'll give myself a 19 for that one
20-30 bad driving...I would say that I'm middle of the road there...I'll give myself a 25
30-50 working... I work about 45 hard hours a week...I'm giving myself a 50
50 Bonus points for thinking I'm king of the world...

That would give me a total score of 144 on Kas' scale of life.

WHew...just wait til my husband sees what I did to his can of pool wall foam adhesive.. :D
There does seem to be a lot of trollers around.

If that is a troll post, then what is a troll post? I thought it was when people post stupid q's when they already know the answer to get peoples goat. How do you know that person wasnt sincere? On another note, I DO think some people are too hard on people, Kas, you are included. That thread was destined for a fight after your first post. Understandibly, you know whats going on, and obviously that stocking was booty, but people dont respond well to people telling them what to do. If that was my thread I would of been pissed but I wouldnt of argued like that, or tried to team up. If you really cared about that tank and the wellfare of the fish in it, you could try some empathy and work with the person, your goal might have been achieved. But when you tell people what to do, all gruff-like without caring about the persons experience, knowledge-base, general feelings on fishkeeping etc., you look like a fish nazi.

Cool, thats my 2cents, Im ready for my kick to the balls :D

For the record--you, and all members, have been told numerous times to simply report a a potentially problematic thread, and let it go. Responding solves nothing, and sadly, since being a mod is a volunteer post, there are times when something will go on for longer than it should because we can't step in and stop it. BUT--if a thread is going awry, and it's been reported, just quit posting in it. If everyone did so, the thread would die for lack of attention, and the problem is solved.

As for whining that the mods aren't doing our job--well, gee, isn't that nice. Normally I check all the forums every single day, several times, and respond to every single PM I get, and try to respond to all the complaint threads that I can. And this is what I get? Complaints? Hmmm, gee. That's the warm fuzzy that makes it all worth my time.

Grow up. Leave the trollos alone. Don't expect the mods to be sitting on the ringside of every single altercation, and realize that if there IS a fight--it's likely more than just one person throwing punches.

Kas, there's your new user title: Fish Nazi. :P

Joe just to explain that statement, which could have been worded much better- I of course don't mean all people in freshwater are jerky. I am a freshwater person. Oh and by jerky I mean jerk- like, not cured meat. ;)
