Mine are descended from MsJink's so they are tank raised- and they are as active as can be. In moderate hardness. Stunning body colouration. They seem to grow quite quickly.
Unlike MTS and QM that like to hang out on the floor- they regulary climb the glass at mid-level moving sideways looking to see if I've suctioned any squash or zucchini to the side of the tank.
They look awesome moving in their creeping motion... so unique- I guess QMs and MTS move the same but because they are smaller it doesn't look so impressive.
I have caught mine eating plants when once I didn't put fresh veggies in for 4 days in a row- just my Bacopa Moneiri- haven't seen them touch anything else...
... but as long as there is a veggie available- they'd rather eat that than your plants.
I stagger my lighting so that I have a long dawn and dusk period... they're active all day- but they're most active during dusk (same is true for my QM and MTS). If you want to see them move more- try setting up a dusk period for them.
