Peta sent the Wyoming Game and Fish Department a letter requesting that we ban fishing. Even provided their 'supplemental information', listing a bunch of unknown 'scientists'--I tried searching on names, and outside of PETA sites, these scientists aren't published anywhere, not even at the universities supposedly supporting their research.

The letter came from the "Fish Empathy Project Manager".

This is just too funny!

What sort of supplement information, and 'scientific research' did they provide?

Well, I'll buy into the "fish feel pain" aspect, but PETA has done nothing to make me want to assist them in any way. Making up sources isn't helping.

Someday they are going to realize that plants feel pain and then they are going to starve to death. Just how long can they tolerate Animalia discrimination against Plantae?

hehehe, that's funny ergo... but hey, wasn't I just reading somewhere that plants do have emotions.... something about placing plants on the ground with wires attached to them and then passing a line-up of felons past them, something like there would be some kind of electro-movement when the actual perp would pass...... can't recall exactly, T can attest to the memory of the Doll ;)

I remember a study that came out during the 70's proving that plants do indeed have sensory reaction to external stimulae (like that? I thunk it up myself :D ) One 'ecologist' even went as far as to say that we should apologize to our lawns before we cut. Sheesh!

I'm with you Ergo. Maybe they will realize that they themselves are a burden on the environment and will lesson the burden.
