Here are tow plants my wife would like to try, they came from water, and are in typical aquarium pots, but I have my doubts as to what they are, and if they're even aquatic.
The first plant is somtimes called a Purple Waffle or Hemigraphis exotica. It is NON-aquatic so you would not want to use it. I have never seen the second plant before. It does resemble a plant I have growing in my flower beds outside.
The second one looks like some kind of Dracaena. Not aquatic.
At some Petsmarts, they also sell these packaged plants. I usually look at the text, and if they mention the use in terrariums separately from the use in aquariums, it's usually safe to assume that the plant isn't aquatic.
