What a Week!

Next week I will be setting up the 20 long. I really love the footprint of this tank and I'm having a lot of fun planning the aquascape. I think at the size they are now there will be PLENTY of room for both multis and calvus.
In the 55 things are running smoothly. SInce my QT tank was full I had to take a risk as add the msobos to the 55. I know I should have learned the last time but the source is way better this time. I rearranged everything, did a water change and fed them. Needless to say my demasoni went NUTS. My male afra also went kind of crazy but not as bad. He did FINALLY stand up to the demasoni. So now the plan is when the Tangs move out of the 5.5 the demasoni is going in there for a few weeks so the msobos can settle in peace. Then he will be readded and I hope he gets the beating he deserves!

So here are a few pictures of the multis.

I only have the picture of when I brought the msobos home. They are still really jumpy when I come near the tank. I removed the demasoni early because he was being a jerk. Now he's hanging out in the filled up 20Long.

Awesome Blue:thm:! Wait til those Multies multiply! I've barely had mine a month and at last count it looks like I've got at least 19 fry in various shells!

Welcome to The Shellie World, Blue!

I'm going to do a water change today and hopefully get some pictures of those msobos. I found a group of snow white socolofi locally and pretty cheap. I figured why not? They are hanging out with Mr. Grouchy Pants Demasoni in the 20 long. Since I was already QTing I might as well get the rest of the fish I need. I'm putting an order in with BlueGrass Aquatics tomorrow to get a few more acei and msobos. I already emailed Eddie to see if they were in stock and they are. I would order today but I have to wait till tomorrow so it goes on February's Credit Card Bill :P .

Ok here are the msobo pictures. Theya re really skittish but getting use to me. The male turned black when I started snapping pictures. I've seen some blue on him when he was bullying the other male. I'm hoping it will come out more as they get use to the place.

The FIRST good picture of my male white top hara is also included. The glass did distort it a little. He's been showing really nice color. A couple of his females look a little pudgy, I bet babies are on the way.
