What is the most friendly large fish?

I should have reword my previous post.:) I meant that the opaline, three spot and gold are the same species. There is a four-spot but that is hard to come by. Still the same species with an extra spot.

Goldfish. Cohabits with much smaller fish without problem.
I disagree strongly. I got a goldfish from a fair and whenever we tried to get fish even at similar sizes it would be gone by the next day. I named it lucky because it just barely survived when we got it home and put it in a proper tank. It lasted 5 years and traveling across the country in a pickle jar until we got rid of it :topic: sorry.

I would have to go with Sevrums I think, or silverdollars as previously stated by BFK. I have never owned silverdollars, so no personal experience with them...but my Sevs are wonderful and peaceful.

I have 2 dwarf gouramis that make my tank look really nice but i have noticed them kinda mean nipping at my cory's fins and chasing the smaller fish around. What are some nice loooking large fish to put in a community tank?

What size is the tank? I'm just confused because my interpretation of your question is that you are considering the dwarf gouramis the 'large fish' in your tank at the moment. They get to 2.5-3 inches, whereas when I think of peaceful 'large fish', I'd think more like maybe a severum as mentioned, but they get to 8 inches.

I think we could better suggest what fish would be appropriate if we knew the size tank you have and size fish you wanted. :)

i have a 55 and they are the biggest fish in there. i have 2 angels but they are currently smaller.

Discus.

Plecos

Sailfin Mollies

Fancy goldfish must have heat. Comets do not need it, nor do koi.

Altum or veil tail angels can get large, if you keep room for them.

Severums, there are a few varieties to choose from, I have two very large gold Severums which are extremely peaceful, never had an aggression problem with them. I keep them in a mixed community tank with much smaller fish. Plus they are very owner responsive.
