Mice are obviously the smartest ones...any Douglas Adams fan knows that ;)

I thought rodent was a relative term... Many people consider raccoons and possums to be rodents, and they are very intelligent...but can they swim??? Let's find out...

Rodents all have continuously growing gnawing teeth, are primarily herbivores or granivores and are not hares/rabbits/pikas (lagomorph family). Raccoons have canine-like teeth adapted to eating everything - opossums have that & they've pouches too (N.A.'s only marsupial).

Maybe you're confusing "Rodent" w/ "Varmint"?
