What Plecos do you own?

It is quite high see if they will come down on the price. I am fortunate I have alot of LFS so the competition brings the price around here to $29.99 for 3". Within 15 miles I have about 20 stores. And being friends with alot of them gets me a great selection.

Anyway, you don't think $70 is a bit much for a 5" GP? When I got home and looked online, I found 3" for more like $20. Thought he was a bit pricey. If he's still there in a few weeks, I may be forced to impulse buy...
Hey if you are thinking about it now, it will not really be an impluse buy, huh? all logically thought out... well, skip logical, and go with the thought out :D

a question

I just got a L066, the King Tiger. He/she is great. I had my eye on the Titanic but the store owner suggested I stick with the L066 cause it was going into a cichlid tank. He said it was fine for a cichlid tank, but I read online it might not be a good choice. Anyone had any luck with King Tigers and know if they do ok in an african cichlid tank ? The tank is 80 gallons, so I think I should be ok, I lots of caves and he been staying in them.

Store owner told me to stay away from the "spotted" ones like the blue and greens and some others. He said the cichlids tend to peck at the dots on them.

Thank You
Jeff

newbie pleco questions

I got this pleco from my brother when he decided to quit his tank. It has always been fed algea waffers. Now that I have him I would like to feed it fresh veggies. I have a common pleco, The kind that you find at any generic pet store or walmart. I was thinking of zuccini, or cucumber. Has anyone had any success with these veggies? Or should I consider something more like romain, or spinach? Or all of the above?
