What "sparked" you into keeping fish yourself?

My boyfriend doesnt like animals (I love them) So I got fish:grinyes:. I have killed about 10 now, but I will keep trying till I get it right. Until then, I am known to my boyfriend as The Fish Killer. :silly:

All my life my family have had tanks so its a passion. I only have set up right now a Ten gallon hex and a 35 gallon hex but I need to go bigger and plan on starting a planted tank. Plus working for a Pet store I have probably 75 to 80 tanks I have to maintain so thats how it started and interest to an obsession!

Well for years since I was a little kid I was obsessed with keeping snakes, frogs, newts etc. Every time I went to the pet store I would glance for a moment at the fish and then get my crickets or what not. So when I was 19 or 20 I finally decided to give it a shot. 29g community and that was it. 10 years later I have two 29g a 75g and a 48 hex. They have taken over. (I still have a 20g for my other "critters" hehe)
