up to 10 bucks here, until i get my next tank that is. once i get that i will be getting some cichlids, and around me they can get over the 10 buck range. also the place i am working now has been trying to get a golden nugget plec in, for 39.99, so...

paid $21 for 9 black phantom tetras. unfortunately, 2 died but the others are doing well. paid $20 for 2 red and white sarasa comets and $4 for 2 dojo loaches, which lived for 6 months before succumbing to a mysterious disease.

I paid $7(each) for my 3 silver dollars. They are the most expensive fish i own lol

Most I've paid is

PHP 175.00 (US$ 3.30) for a 2-inch clown loach
PHP 175.00 (US$ 3.30) for a 2-inch western rainbowfish :D
PHP 200.00 (US$ 3.77) for a 1-inch silver arowana (made it grow up to 8 inches and I sold it 10x the price when I bought it :D)

Some nice koi here are sold the same price as cars. I don't have enough money to but fish like that. Specially the ones with symmetric patterns and the ones with "7 colors" (don't know what that means, the breeders understood each other though)

110.00 for a massive ghost knife, 20 or so inches

17.99 for a baby arowana. We visited my friends $200,000 grand prix horse. talk about an expensive hobby. lol.

On average in the $30 to 40 range for my discus, but there was one big blue diamond I had to have that tipped the register into 3 digits.

About $2500 so far, but I am eyeing an A-grade blue-base, sapphire gold-head crossback Asian arowana that will set me back a good $6,500.
