I can't vote. I paid $30cad for a yellow tang.

Edit: whoops! this is freshwater. I think it was $10 for a powder blue gouramie.

21.50 for a 4" Black Ghost Knife Fish, very much worth it, he is soooo cool (named him Mack the Knife LOL); paid 1,000.00 for a 5 monthold land fish (Tennessee Walking Horse), will be shelling out another 1,000.00 for her brother soon . . . . like fish, they're less when just fry!!!

I've paid a tad over $200 usd for a discus. Heard of them going for over $14,000 over in asia for top of the line breeders. I wouldn't think twice about shelling out $300 for a nice potential breeding quality discus. Thats for adult fish too, but I've seen and know some breeders that sell certain strains for $200-250 for a single two or three month old fish (2.5-3"). Thats also just the fish cost, then ya gotta throw the shipping cost ($60-75) in there. LFS fish just simply don't cut it when it comes to quality and health.

LFS fish don't cut it!!! Move to pittsburgh. THis one fish store has has the most beautiful discus I have ever seen. If I had the money I would buy them in a minute.
Most ever paid $8 However i'm planning to buy some shellies(if i can find some for a reasonable price)

My BF paid about $20 for a whiptailed catfish. He now wants to pay $50 for a Gold Nugget Pleco, but I'm not going for it. We dont have the money or the room.

I most I ever paid was 12.50 for a BN pleco.
