which lake do you prefer?

The introduction of the Nile perch for fishing and pollution of the lake are the biggest problems facing Lake Victoria.
Interestingly, I heard a speech by Dr. Paul Loiselle, and he stated that as sad as what happened to Lake Victoria is, the officials in Africa learned their lesson, and this lesson may have saved Malawi and Tanganyika. They are not allowing any introduced species into those lakes.

Nile perch are evil fish heheehe, hey ladybarbara if you set up a fish farm in San Antonio i bet you would be successful we had Goliad farms come out and do a speech at our fish club i think he is close to your area..
Not only Vickies endangered a lot of others thru out the world are no longer and the hobby is the only place you can get them..

Yep agreed but if you notice that the planet has turned to going greener which is in the right direction but generations before us have done so much damage that it will take a few new generations to reverse the effects one of the reasons we are seeing global temp's out of wack..
And as much as recycling is in the right direction as well (i do my part) energy saving bulbs and regulated thermostat control on our heating and air, plus i even cut when and if i do buy them usually its my wife who buys them are those 6 packs of diet soda drinks with plastic carrier, i cut the rings so that one day when it makes it into the landfill a bird or critters head doesnt get stuck.. later buddy..

The shellies in the kitchen that think they can kick my tuchus have warned me that I had better vote for Tanganyika, or they will attack. I thusly voted thusly...and am slightly reconsidering the idea of going anywhere near that tank any time soon.
