Why does duckweed grow so fast???

i don't have a problem with it.I guess im just on of the lucky ones.

P.S. don't you like how it sticks to your arm when you pull you it out of the water.

Haha.. oh joy. Indeed.

I actually only had the giant duckweed before and that wasn't so bad. But I saw some lesser duckweed come in with plants and let that go in too. Jeez.. no wonder people complain about it. Mine isn't a problem, though with so many goldfish to keep it in check. Gives me room for some frogbit and water lettuce, now that I've cleared out most of it.

My canas ate all my duckweeds. I should have known to keep some.:( People here hate duckweeds and try to remove them so duckweeds aren't often seen here anymore.

Duckweed grows so fast because it's evil. :evil_lol:

well for one I never can keep it, the snails go nuts for it. I get it its gone. darn it, I love that stuff. you are lucky, sell it, and or give it for the cost of shipping, that would be nice .

Granny has a good idea! When I clean out my 75g again I should have plenty for a random act of kindness.....

I do have goldfish too in another tank. They seem to like only the regular duckweed.....perhaps I'll throw some in and see if they like it......

Do you want some? I know where you can get some :evil_lol: :evil_lol:

where can i get some? i've tried growing it by a sunny window, in my tank..everywhere and it STILL DOESNT GROW!!! All of my other plants do, but DUCKWEEd...arrghh:swear: ;)

In the duckweed world....aquarium water is considered a steriod.

:naughty:
