YAY!
I think then we'll be able to figure out what's killing your fish. You'd be surprised. It's hard, because we don't live in water, to look at the fish tank and say "oh, it's got high nitrites. That's why the fish aren't happy." But a test kit will help you pinpoint what the problem is, or at least narrow down the possibilities, so congrats!

Arent you more sluggish when you first wake up? DOSENT THE LIGHT BOTHER YOUR EYES? YOUR FISH ARE PROBABLY FINE.

Man I understand that feeling! Every morning when I look at my fish I am certain that I've done something terrible to them, though they are always more sluggish when I first turn the lights on. My fish recover their zip and color by the time I feed them. It sounds like your fish eventually start to look better--is it just a morning thing?

What exactly are your fish doing that makes you think they are dying? Have you tested your water? What kind of cloudyness?

WHAT ARE YOUR WATER PARAMATERS? LIGHTING? LIVE PLANTS? IS THE TANK NEAR A WINDOW? THERE ARE WAYS TO CLEAR UP YOUR WATER AND HELP YOUR FISH..NEED MORE INFO PLEASE

I know everyone is harping on the test kits, but they are right. There is a good chance the tank is not fully cycled. If it is not cycled you need to up the water changes to 50%+ everyday or every other day until the cycle is complete. And be wary of the advice you get at the pet store. Always look for other references that agree with them. (Just like if you were writing a school report).

If you haven't already check out these articles in the article index.

ahhhhhh...... yep. I knew it was ammonia. that mean sthere is something VERY amiss with your tank.... i'd recommed massive PWC's and frequent water changes after that, because most likely it is from not being cleaned enough.
