WTF...How rude!

But you know what, look at Donald Trump to Bill Gates. Donald Trump, not the nicest guy, Bill Gates, really nice guy. What I'm saying is as long as the business gets done, personality really doesn't matter.

Well thats not the point, what matters is that he could be a saint or a scrooge, as long as he makes money, it doesn't really matter what kind of personality he has.

Ah, the American way :) As long as it makes money it doesn't matter too much what you do, which describes Bill Gates and others pretty well :)

The guy probably had a bad day. And maybe he's thinking something along the lines of . . . "This kid got his fish a week or two ago and now he's leaving for three weeks. Why didn't he wait until after he's back from holiday break to get these fish if he's so worried about leaving them for three weeks . . . Don't they teach these kids anything in college?"

Sorry I am of the school that if someone buys something from you and they have a question about it it is your responsibility to either help them if you can or at least have the common curtisy to not insult them for asking a question.

Again, I don't think this was a joke and I don't care if he does make most of his money from stores how hard is it to answer this simple question.

So it isn't my responsibility to answer people's questions on this forum that I have absolutely no connection to, so would all of you who are defending him be fine with me randomly insulting the intelligence of everyone who posts a question on here???

I think it was rude too. I always apply this standard:
If it were MY business and someone I hired spoke to one of MY customers that way, would I be OK with it.

The answer in this case is NO.

Judgement should be reserved because of the fact that there was one side presented with only snippets of the original e-mail exchanges between the breeder and the customer. From what I understand, the OP asked for help, got it, but also got what they consider a rude remark. The entire context of the original e-mail's should be taken into account since the breeders point of view is absent from this forum.

well that would be true if the poster was bad mouthing the breeder and giving his name. But he is just asking if we agree that this incident as presented would be considered rude or if he was wrong.
