I dont know how "natural"you want to go but now that you've chosen your rocks, you might want to choose a similarly colored substrate. In nature, the sand (substrate) in any given body of water is just the bigger rocks and stones after they've broken down

That might be a bit of a challenge...not sure how to work that one out.

But here is a test pic of the rocks set in place...


They might be too big. I am going to remove a few and keep a few.

I think it looks fine... The one ascending above the water line might develop some weird looking algae lines if it's not totally submerged, but I see no reason to remove any of them.

You will have to excuse the beach pebble, it is filling for the new rocks I have yet to get.

That is the one me and the wife liked as well. It allows for me to still pursue the original Idea/ drawings. It is not dead set that its the exact way I am going though...

They are all nice man. good job nice selection on rocks. I like one and three the best and in that order. the reason: i like the large phallic grey rock on the right side of picture one.

I plan to use that layout, I am going to replace the rocks on the left and possibly the two small rocks on the right with smaller rocks.

I need to get egg crate for the rocks to sit on. Also here are a few pics of the plants to be used.



Now the background plant, I have to decide between these two.
