I'll side with Bob on this one.. that could very well be a genetic issue..that is not a normal shaped head for an angel.

The head wasn't always shaped like that though, that is what I don't get. It just started developing before I took that pic. I was watching it and was going to post about it and ask, but he died before I got that done. If it is genetics, at least I know it wasn't something I did
I have actually seen a much more severe case on a young angel that eventually secumbed.

I have seen some weird anomalies.
one of my felt sorry for it so I'm gonna keep it fish..is a gold male with pearl scale..he has no ventrals and an under bite a glaring under bite..he is also huge...one of his brothers is a large gold and nearly 1/3 smaller..

Well, I left the other one in the 55 (I know big risk)...but there have been no problems, so I really think it just died and the others ate on him/her.
