well im sure if that one pink bulb is mixed with 2-3 regular ones it might look good, but never know..

I would love to try this since i got 2 bulbs on each side of my canopy and a perfect place for that pink one right in the center.. I will stop by petco later this week and see if they have any.
I never tried the regular screw in versions - I went from the 10-15W bulb that came w/ the minibow to the colormax. It has some color to it, but it grows stuff about as fast as my 96W PC in my 2' deep 46g bow does.

I am confused (what else is new?). are you saying that 10000K bulbs will be better for planted tanks than 6700K. or are we talking about nonplanted. I see the pictures of tanks with live plants in them attached here.
plants do fine in the range of 5500-10,000

WOW , thats all with just a light change? Amazing difference!
Note: That's not an instant change in color, that's showing what color changes are present with the plants as they grow with the two different bulbs.
looks like the exact pic to me, same plants same way there set, jus different bulbs. I see no different growth JM
