One thing I really enjoy about AC is that people will tell the truth. This is not to put others down but to help each other improve our skills and knowledge and avoid costly mistakes. We are all learning and this forum is a great place to help each other do that. I've noticed if someone has done well, everyone will give them props, but if you are looking for someone to blow sunshine up your, well you know what I mean, this is not the place.
Well said, DominionDesign.

Today (or some other time) I hope I can go to the store and get some bacteria gravel that I can put in the filter, as well as some plants. Then after that I'll get some goldfish.

Your pond IS NOT 200 gallons. If you put 5 goldfish in there you WILL stunt them and kill them. This is the reality, and again, there is no point in you asking for advice and showing off your pond if you will not take the advice of people who are trying to help you and tell you the truth. Your LFS will just make money from you and turn their back when the fish are dying, sick, and stunted.

Why goldfish? For a pond that size you may want to try cory cats. :lol2:

Edit: And Lupin was right. That comment was nicely put.

You may even potentially have problems with two. If you truly want to be on the safe side, I would get one, or not put in goldfish at all. Something like guppies, gambusia, white clouds, sunfish would be better stocking.

I do believe you have just made my day with this post DD. Many props to you for "getting it". :D

You might look at Rosy Red Minnows, They are really neat little fish and you could have a nice little school of them in that pond. Also a lily would look awesome in there and toss in a hand full of Hornwort.
