Yes, some people are really bad about taking threads on a tangent... it's like my wife... can be in the car driving down the road talking and then someone cuts us off and she starts talking about how she dislikes people who cut her off.

Then we're completely off topic talking about something else. Personally I hate it more people that run red lights...

but the worst traffic faux-pas of all... people that drive 10mph below the speed limit in the fast lane... grrrrrr....

tell me how much did you pay to join this forum?
how much is the monthly/yearly rate to stay on to be a part of this forum?
how much do you pay or how much do you have to post in order to view the classified section?
how much do the mods get paid?

and if you did any research you'd figure out that POLYSPERMA is illegal :jaw-dropping:

I had planned on trying to sell some of that plant, luckily I read this thread, I guess it now goes into the bucket and then into the trash!!
 
Nip enough buds and eventually all you have is bare branches.



It'd be nice if people could just self police though... Unfortunately, with the nip it in the bud mentality, the chance to do that kind of goes out the window.

Seriously though, the vast majority of spats I've ever gotten into with mods on this forum have been because of staff deigning to nip something in the bud rather than let it run its course. Have some faith in your members. At the end of the day, a forum with no mods has a better chance of surviving than a forum with no members. JMO.
 
any extreme is no good. That's my moto in life and I use that in almost every situation thrown at me; that is, a balanced approach on anything. Too much modding or no modding at all can cause a mess on any forum..

In the end, I think we're quite balanced when handling situations that come up.

And if anyone feels we're not, on a specific issue, users are always welcome to address any issue with any one of the mods (of globals), and it'll be looked into.
