Mafia 62- The Play

As I said prior, Razz is my number one mafia suspect. He was trying to lay low and go with the town. When he got called out by Ice for lack of any ideas to help the town, I'd bet someone in the scum den told him he better post something with some semblence of original thought. These thoughts named 4 he thought for mafia. He put me in the unsure category, yet did not retract his vote. He knew I would show innocent and wanted to be able to say that he really wasn't sure. Also, he claimed Noods innocent. Rich was claimed to be mafia. Now his most recent post/theory he is trying to align himself with Rich. Nice try Razz, but the whole thing left me :rofl: His list was so vastly different than mine that it shifted him from not sure to leaning mafia.

idk Razz, could you not have suspected Noods because she was the one coaching you? Also, I totally don't understand the hit on Rich...why did you guys think he was a threat?


In regards to the snitch's list, i think it's highly likely that at least 2, if not more, on that list are mafia. I think Noods was trying to protect them by putting them on the list. Surely when she showed mafia and was on the list then she would have been the only mafia on the list, right??? I'm sure that was her hope, but Ice already pointed that out and I agree very much with that possibility.

My list, in order of most suspect at this time:

Dawg-moved up due to his flub and the fact he keeps insisting Ice is mafia. I am still not sure what to think of Ice, except that I still think he's being framed. I also happen to agree with Ice's theories and logic for the most part.

Can you explain the part in bold to me LR. My flub would not have been made by mafia because I would think they would know how the mafia team works. I can understand you may think it was an attempt to snow people but it would have been a dumber move (than it already was) for a mafia to make that mistake IMO. You are entitled to your own opinion though.

Your flub seemed like an attempt to muddy the waters. And I still can't see why you're so insistent that Ice is mafia. I'm not trying to defend him, but I really can't see what is so glaringly mafia that you keep trying to lynch him for. I see him being framed (either that or he is brilliantly framing himself to make me think he is being framed). Razz is much more scummy at this point than Ice imo. Ice isn't on my scum list at this point.

The Dawg/Ice debate is interesting. Not sure where I fall on that yet though.
I still suspect DD. Her vote on Noods is compelling, but not enough to clear her given her lack of posting/insight/questions this game.

Not sure about Razz or JL though I have suspicions about both of them.
I'm leaning Labby innocent at this point.
Jpap, I'm still not sure. The thing with Ag the first day still has me wondering, but he does seem to be kicking bushes.

I don't get how I didn't see that. I just couldn't see the argument about noods...... I have to rethink my list. Also, was Rich getting to something? Why would the mafia hit him? It didn't really stop any suspicions, right? I have to look through his posts and see if he was hinting at something.

I know this post has been brought up before, but it strikes me as odd. When Razz came back with his post looking at Rich's posts, there was nothing there. For such a long post to have no real information is just... well... scummy.

I realized that in my last post I forgot Zaffy and Z. Must be a mental block against the letter Z or something. Zaffy I have some concerns about... not wanting to give up his ideas for suspecting Noods, and some "all over the place" posting. Plus, I just don't buy the tinfoil hat conspiracy. Seems to me like there's something more going on there.
Z... I have to say I haven't paid much attention to. That will be changing when I get time to really go through the thread again.

For now though, it's time to leave the world of mafia addicts and go back to the real addicts... wish me luck.

Just wanted to pull some posts from Dawg that made me think he was distancing from Noods and scummy.

I see something better. The post above is Noods only post nearly 24hrs into the game. She also states that she almost missed the game. Not very Noods like IME. Even if it's only to get her talking in her normal fashion...

well thanks dawg! FYI - I was sick all day yesterday and had not been on the forum at all. This morning I checked before I hopped in the shower before work and noted the game had started. That is all but feel free to read into anything you wish, Lawd knows many of you will! LOL

Anyway, it is good to play another game. Seems like forever since I played. (altho I did have the new Stephen King novel to keep me occupied) :dance:
Need to read over the thread thus far, as I had minimal time to think about at work today, and see who is stringing a line of BS on day one.

We now know Noods was the one full of BS.

Now this is where I felt Noods and Dawg jumped on to JL's intense scrutiny of me. The timing felt off, the following sequence was why I bet my fish that 2/3 of them were mafia. We now know Noods was mafia.

I am caught up.

I hope some folks will comment on some of my comments.

My top suspect is Lab_Rat.

Their vote is for someone that had not posted yet, but they knew was a low poster from past games at another web site.

Why they did not place a vote for a non-UD risk player or change it when they had to see all of the heat Agas was taking for their logic in placing a vote on me, who at the time was a UD risk.

They even jumped on board giving Agas a hard time for calling me talkative and accusing Agas and I to be talking off site. All the while having their own vote on a player that had not posted, but was deemed a low poster.

I vote to lynch Lab_Rat.

JL, I agree that LR's vote on Alex seems suspicious. To vote for someone for being a low poster then follow that up by stating you have played with them before and are always a low poster just doesn't make much sense. If Alex turns up mafia I will actually find it more suspicious because I would think this to be distancing from a teammate when you know they will likely UD anyway. We'll have to see how that plays out though.

I retract my vote for Dangerdoll and vote to lynch Labby I think that ties it up again but not sure if my tracking is correct. (work has been crazy)
Not sure my vote will stay there til nightfall but I feel pretty good about it right now. She has proven herself to be a pretty good player and able to pull the wool over even vets eyes. At this point I am not willing to take the chance.....I will do my best to sneak on here in an hour or so and try to put up a list altho one it is pretty flimsy.......

I agree that my vote is largely based on how well you have played the past couple of games but the comments made about Alex and then your vote for him are a bit fishy. As for Rich, no, not suspicious, yet. the banter between Ag and JP seems pretty typical for JP. He finds something to pick at and keeps picking away until he is satisfied. (eeewww, wonder if he picked his scabs as a kid!) LOL

To the statement in bold above...

...telling us about Alex's style of play is not scummy but voting for him because he is playing the way you say he always does is scummy. Then retracting your vote because of the pressure is equally scummy. Then changing your whole philosophy and voting for the highest poster is scummy again. Since my vote for Noods was more to get her talking than anything else and the above statements have caused me to doubt LR even further then I already did...

So that was what made me suspect all three. As I said earlier, I think I was a bit OMGUSy with JL, but I still don't trust him one bit.

There are quite a few players on you and not seeing how it comes down to me and dawg. looks like you may be safe tonite anyway so chil. Razz - Still hasn't answered my question about the apparent slip up in saying sorry to Kash. Why didn't you say sorry to Alex? He was innocent too. Is it because you didn't have anything to do with them leaving the game?

For now that's my short list and if I had to pick one right now I'd go with Razz.

I can see what you're saying Razz. I guess it's the wording that I'm hung up on. You didn't say "sorry to lose you" or "sorry to see you go" you just said sorry. I can see why you would just say "sorry" to Ag because you voted for them...but the Kash thing just has me wondering. You have nothing to be sorry to her about unless you had something to do with the hit. I'm done with this for now because I don't want to get too hung up on semantics of your wording.

But now Razz is ok again.

I noticed you missed Zaffy on Noods list which also says no read.


Zaffy moves up a bit on my list for his prior posts earlier today. Zaffy is usually more of a digger or at least a better player then he has shown this game. The fact that he didn't vote Noods, thinks Z is mafia and is clueless on another 2 suspects worries me. Might even go as far as to say he replaces JL on the list or atleast moves into the same tier as him.

It does bother me a bit that Z has been near non existent and that JB other then his case on Noods hasn't been much help either. JB has gotten his own lynched before with a distancing case,me for instance.
Just don't feel they would vote Noods since there isn't a Det to verify if good or evil.
