I am not convinced Lab is scum. While she has been vehemently defending herself, I find this behaviour is contadictory to the way she played when evil in the past.

I am concerned about Wiz and his eagerness to blindly follow Kash.

Dagamoth's behaviour is troubling. He has played part of a game on another site, and read one from this site. And yet he openly admits to voting for the sole purpose of protecting himself from a lynch, rather than voting in an effort to root out scumbags and save the town.

Lets see how he votes when he sees his name in bold.

I retract my vote to banish FF and vote to banish Dagamoth.

What do you make of texasguy's posts? To me, they are the scummiest thing posted by far.

Honestly Lab.
If this is Tex 1st ever game his posts aren't scummy at all. Its a mindset to last as long as possible. Its not till you get the full effect of the game that you realize sometimes its not in the towns best interest. But right now its a game of survivor to them.
This "case" is really bugging me. I think you're trying to defelect.

What are your thoughts on Annie,Zaffy,DD?

Its been posted throughout the thread. A quick rehash would be that you were worried about a "train" that really still hasn't materialized. You're worried because either your team mate is being voted on or you're positioning yourself to say I knew she was innocent. There is no way her posts scream innocent. She might be innocent but she isn't projecting it IMO.

Isn't that mafia strategy 101. Doesn't matter who is voted out as long as not me or teammate? It is almost as though he was told to vote for Lab Rat trying to get the rock rolling down hill on her but made noob mistake and didn't post reasoning for the vote. Or it could be total noob-dom not realizing that all the innocents will need to work out reasoning for who is mafia so they can survive and not be picked off 1 after the other by the madman.

Texasguy is there a reason that you are just looking to get rid of someone else instead of trying to work out who is mafia? It didn't really make any sense since I don't think anyone had even mentioned you before your vote. Very scummy thing to do to vote for someone just to save your own butt when it wasn't even on the line at the time.

I actually dont have any thought on Annie, Zaffy, and DD. Hmm, i think that makes them suspects now. Thats what the bad guys would want, no thought on them.

You have to admit that Tex's post was horrible and deserved to be pointed out whether he's a noob or not. I'm not planning to vote for him right now because of it but it is certainly something to keep an eye on as the game goes on.

FF makes a good point here. Seems like he is playing better than last game for sure.

I don't think defending yourself is scummy. Unless "defending" yourself is making attacks at others.



I'm worried about an early train because it makes it easy for scum to hide.

The general feel I get from Ice is that he's posturing to hide his vote somewhere where he won't be noticed. He's making pokes here and there, but I don't feel like he's sincerely bush kicking.

We have no evidence of anything and we are banishing someone. So I am attempting to jack up the votes on one person so that it would be less likely for me to be banished.

you weren't even mentioned. Why would you be worried about being banished? Do you have something to hide?

Show me where I said I wasn't worried about a train on FF. I'd like to see it.

The reasons she gave made logical sense to me, her first 2 reasons were stupid, but the 3rd she gave (in the same post) made sense to me. If I were on vacation I wouldn't have the mafia sign up as a top priority either. I don't think what she did was scummy. I don't rule her out as possible scum.

How many games of mafia have you played? How many times has this NOT happened?

Construe away, please. Find something real to talk about. Semantics about what is or isn't a train, and why or why not someone should say they can or can't be scum is superficial at best.

What seemed scummy was her defending herself before accusations were made. But I am sure you already knew that, but just are trying very hard to steer attention away from Lab Rat. I wonder why?

What's worrying me most right now is it seems awful early in the game, awful early in the day even, for a two horse race. Makes me wonder if FF is innocent as well and the scum are sitting in their scum den lolling. I mean, a 2 horse race with 2 innocents on the block, what could be better if you're scum? Makes for a good night 1 for them.

I've gone back and looked, and I can't see why y'all think I'm scummy. Yes, I made the case against myself, but that was simply because I figured it was only a short amount of time before someone made the same case. What I said was pretty obvious so I wanted to get it into the open so you all wouldn't waste time focusing so much on me when I'm innocent. Obviously that backfired. For some reason when I'm innocent I'm quite good at digging a hole for myself then having to fight my way out of it. I think I need to play like the lurkers do.

Like I said, I don't like this 2 horse race this early in the game, with really nothing to go on. I will vote for FF if it means saving my own butt but I think he may actually be innocent. I am now more suspicious of Texasguy for his drive by voting and lame-o excuse. He's got a whole day more to decide, yet he felt the need to vote tonight with the reason that he doesn't want to be voted for. He's not even been mentioned.

Several games ago I was the priest power role, I was in the hot seat from day 1 for a late vote switch that saved my own life... you may remember it

I defended myself furiously for most of the game and we won it. That's why I don't see the act of defending yourself to be scummy in itself, you have to look at what is said to make that determination.

I don't care why, I care how. There are a thousand reasons why someone might make any given post. We can speculate for days about why she decided to post. We can work with how that post was made. In my opinion Lab_rat's How is not particularly scummy to me.

Nor is the how scummy to me. It is the when that disturbs me. Defending accusations is one thing defending without accusations is scummy.

Kash, I am half going to entertain the discussion about whether I skimmed or didn't, whether I do so regularly or not.... the fact is, you called me out on it by mentioning it in your post without a giggle so now you are saying that I should have just sat back and ignored it? Oh wait.... or are you saying that I am trying to coast through this game while we are only on day 1.... Ok, so I didn't read through the rules in post #1 thoroughly enough to see that there is the rule for people to PM... if you didn't feel like it was an issue, why did you even bring it up?

So, the reason I voted for you is because yes, you did call me out on that and I thought it was done so with poor reasoning... I felt that with that reasoning, you were reaching pretty far out there... correct, you did not vote on me at the time, but so what... you brought my name up with saying that your point was that I was skimming and now you go back on yourself and seem to try to justify over and over and over about why you brought it up in the first place was just merely to mention it... now it's looking a bit desperate if you ask me.
