I vote to lynch Zsand

He is playing exactly like every other time he's been mafia. He says things, but the things he says are of no substance. For example, the quote above. One line for Hooked and nothing for LadyG when almost the entier discussion of day 2 has been LadyG.

I am perfectly happy with a LadyG/Zsand vote run.

I know that Zsand is mafia. I am perfectly happy with switching to LadyG if need be.

I vote to lynch Zsand... again... until his head pops off and his guts are exposed for being mafia scum.

JB, don't you think it's curious that this days entire discussion has been about LadyG and the code words... yet Zsand doesn't even mention that (in any significant way)?

Don't you think it's curious that Zsand voted 3 times on day one and never got close to HN, but his final vote was on ILoveMollies?

BTW: Zsand did vote for Wiz as did LadyG and known mafia, hooked. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best evidence that theWiz is innocent. Pending notification about any turns, if either G or Zsand is mafia, then I'll assume that theWiz is innocent.

BUt if everyone was on Wiz, then it would like nothing and we'd have a lot more to try and sort through.

The close race with hooked, was the absolute worse thing that could happen to them, especially when Wiz saved himself by jumping to HN.

Z was stuck. If he moved to Wiz, then he would have forced a tie breaker, but if Wiz had won it, then everyone would be looking suspiciously at him.

But Z was on Mollies to answer your actual comment FF.

Why did HN vote the Wizard so quickly after me then? That makes no sense, unless he thought that it was just a passing fancy and that something else would come up and then he could safely move off to a safer vote or stay on for no reason and look more innocent.

No, I think that TheWiz is the most likely to be innocent I've got and your role in the game will be very telling.

If either you are Zsand is mafia, then I highly suspect the other is as well.

Zsand is playing very much like he has in the past, when he's been mafia. He also wasted a vote on a UD. He also ignored the main topic of conversation during this day turn and voted for someone that everyone else has ignored (in terms of voting) today.

For those reasons, I choose to vote Z and move him to the head of the mafia list.

You however, I was more willing to give a pass on. Personally, I thought the whole 'code word' issue was bogus form the beginning. FISH!!! see?

However, your recent behavior (not the least of which is missing the three posts previously where I described my reasoning for voting Zsand (and including you on the suspect list) has really elevated you position in the mafia meter.


For now, I will leave me vote on Zsand.

I would REALLY, REALLY like to hear what others think of him as a mafia. However, if it looks like the voting for Z will go no further than me, I will (now) happily change my vote to LadyG, who, until now, I didn't suspect that much.

OTOH, I will continue to push for Z as mafia.

I do see what Ogre is talking about. What I do not like is Ogre's first sentence - "Zsand is mafia." Not, "I think, Zsand is mafia." or "Zsand looks like mafia."

I do not think I will be online much tomorrow, so I doubt if this vote will change. I still think like the idea of LG being lynched and I am curious of what she will do know that she has voted for Ogre. I also like a LG/ZS run. I think both of them being lynched would be good.

Scum #1 Lone KGB Agent -- Could kill. Could not communicate.
Scum #2 Demonic Soul -- (What were they doing? Pappy didn't tell us.)
Scum #3 Demonic Soul -- (What were they doing? Pappy didn't tell us.)

Hits? - At least 1 from what we saw.
Invests? - We don't know.
Turn Someone? - That's what demons did in Game 56. They communicated and were team building/recruiting teammates.
Communicate? - Demons yes... KGB agent(s) no.

HN was lynched and Pappy said he was mafia... but he didn't tell us if HN was the KGB agent or one of the demonic souls.

Town Day 1 Roles and Powers

Town #1 Lone CIA Agent -- Could kill. Pappy said the person was "searching for demonic souls."
Town #2 Exorcist -- Could also kill but didn't.
Town #3 Journalist -- Could investigate Day 1, got invest results back before nightfall, and could publish headline.

Hits? - At least 2 hits. One successful, the second wasn't submitted.
Invests? - At least 1 because the headline clears Rbishop.
Turn Someone? - Apparently not (?)... none of those roles could turn people in Game 56.
Communicate? - I don't think so... none of those roles communicated with anyone in Game 56.

I think I'm going to go with the idea that the journalist got an invest off the bat and jpap gave them the results prior to nightfall so they could get a headline in. Wouldn't the exocist search for demonic souls though, not the CIA agent? Also, why not use a hit? I guess they may have been worried about hitting a townie by accident.

HN would have had to be a demonic presence if the lone KGB agent was trailing Rich after HN died. If the demonic presences could communicate with each other, is there anyone HN seemed to be on the same page with? I need to go back and check. LG's use of "RAT may have been a way for her (KGB agent) to communicate with her demonic comrades. Since they all were aware of what game we were in for day 1 they may have thought it was safer to use code words.

Not only because she tried to tie things up, but because she asked what she should do first. It looks like an attempt to put any fallout from her actions onto other folks.

The real life excuse is nice, but last game, as scum, she slipped twice and blamed it on real life too.

With tomorrow being Mother's Day, I don't know how much I'll be on. Probably on in the morning, and then off for most of the rest of the day.

Another one jumping on... tell me, Zaffy: how close to HN's retraction would have made you more comfortable with my comment? I commented on it when I saw it; no more, no less.

I'm on my lunch break at work, so I won't be able to post much, but I've been skimming to keep up. At this point, I'm leaning toward voting LG... I'd like to see more from Wiz before being confident enough to vote.

@ Ogre: you seem pretty sure about Zsand... how's that?

I don't like it ever, I don't think there was any reason to suspect that he would UD intentionally. I've not played with HN before but I get the impression that he's better than that. Based on what others have said. Has he ever done that sort of thing before?

Ok, finally home and trying to get caught up on everything. Of course I can see why everyone is looking at me, but really guys/gals do you truly think if I were scum I would use TWO code words in one post? No, I wouldn't plain and simple. The only reason I did all caps on the word Rat was just for stress, nothing more. As I said it was a joke that's it. Now if you really think I would be so stupid to post something so obvious I guess you do not know me. If I were mafia, I would of known at nightfall everyone would know what game we were in and figure it out, I would never of done that.

Now I have some questions I need to answer, so I will pull posts and answer them.

This seems genuine to me, the more I think about Lady G's use of "code" words, the more it falls apart. I can't find any context among her use that suggests there's any hidden meaning.

Crap, I just got here. I know my vote on ILM is useless, so I can put it at a coin toss now (I think) if we want to go that way.

I got home 10 min before nightfall, superskimmed, and tried to make up my mind on whether to move the useless vote. When I re-looked at the vote count I thought it might be worth switching. At that point (and fortunately) it was too late. Ask someone who can see me online even when I'm invisible...I wasn't on the thread until right before nightfall.

So the way I see it you did have time. So why do you say you didn't?

That's the problem, Lab Rat. Whichever way you try to read it, it still doesn't add up. So as much as I'm sure Pappy tried to stay in keeping with the original game... something has either been changed or oversimplied. There are inconsistencies and too many WIFOM type variables to count on anything.

Examples... CIA agents weren't after demons or possessed souls. The journalist didn't get investigation results back yet the very first nightfall. Why would one side get 2 hits while the other only 1? Why would 2 mafia be communicating when the town side can't? I can't find enough balance between the good and evil teams for Pappy to play the format this way.

Maybe there are being codewords used... but they don't carry messages behind them and only identify teammates for each other. I think that makes sense because the non-communicators would likely be communicating by now. Maybe the communicators are no longer permitted to chat with each other and are non-communicating now. How would we tell?

Even you, Lab Rat.. Look at your post. You've just decided the journalist must have received an investigation before writing a headline. Why? What makes you sure? We have no way to figure that out. And whichever option we pick locks us into applying that theory against somebody in this game... and to get them lynched based on THAT interpretation over some other interpretation which is equally valid or possible.

So the way I see it you did have time. So why do you say you didn't?

I said I thought I could put it at a tie. I posted that then went back to the last vote count and saw that I couldn't. I decided to switch my vote anyway, thinking maybe scum would make a jump. Turns out, I was seconds too late.

See how long it takes you to go back a page, find a vote count, see if any votes had changed, then type out a vote retraction and re-vote. I was trying to help the town. I wish I'd gotten home sooner to avoid this entire situation. I didn't. I knew posting that close to nightfall would get me in trouble but I wanted to do what I could to help the town.
