Jay's Planted 180g Tank.

Did it clear up yet?

It's getting there but it's enough to get the big picture I hope =) Don't hold me to this because it will likely change as things mature and/or I figure out what else I want to add. I also don't have the rocks which I plan to add in order to maintain the back to front slop.

Right
A. nana on the driftwood and C. green gecko (I think) as the midground; need thoughts for somethinge behind the Ludwigia glandulosa maybe P. stellatus

Middle
C. spiralis, H. pinnatifida, A. nana petite , C. Parva (Forground), C. wendtii green, and C. tropica flanking the driftwood in the center, Echinodorus vesuvius (which will soon get a new home trading for something else)

Left
Vallisneria americana, A. nana petite, A. reieckii, there's also a small Bolbitis heudelotii, there's fissiden on the driftwood slowly spreading.

I intend to have a mixed foreground with either glosso or marsilea not sure which depending on how my rock idea works out. I still have quite a bit of room which is cool might do mermaid weed as another background plant if I can get it to color up but that's doing well in my 45g. I had C. florida sunset but that didn't keep it's two tone form at the old house and I'm not seeing it get any better if it did survive in my tank. I have to check my other tanks see if there is something else worth while to put in here.

Cool Columbian Tetras! Where did you end up purchasing these?

$1 Tetra Sale @ Petsmart or Petco don't recall but it was right after my Discus died and I didn't want to have an empty tank or attempt expensive fish again. They were small when I bought them they have actually breed and 3 juveniles have survived to adults... go figure never works when I intend to breed fish...LOL Considering they are egg scatters that's pretty impressive with all the other fish in there waiting on the caviar.

Sweet! I think I might end up adding 9 of these to my 38G. They look awesome! And probably would be cool with some Neon Tetras associated with them. Have you seen them fin nip at all?

I have over 20 in my 180g no signs of fin nipping at all. I did have a small group of Congo tetra with my Angels once upon a time I may try that again just because they are a descent size as adults and have a better tendency to school.

If you move it to the right, it should look nice!

Done. =) Thank's for the suggestion it's much improved over the way it was I'll snap a pic when it clears up. I have to shift everything else more to the right as well.
