I don't think silvers are a strain you find in the wild.

Here's something better for clarification. Do you know where it was collected?

To be fair, silvers are the closest strain to wilds. (provided we are talking about P. scalare)

I agree that that would be better but you yourself asked the strain. (Forgive me if I seem rude)

Well, when these fish arrived at my LFS, they were identified as P.leopoldi. I immediately did a search to try to locate the correct species because it really didn't look like a leopoldi angel to me. I visited my LFS a few days ago and there are still some specimens, which have developed a kind of dark gray spots. My individual specimen doesn't have these points but I think it will not be long before I develop them, after analyzing some species I think that my fish may be is Scalare rio nanay or Scalare guyana, if any expert has another point of view to be able to identify it, it is absolutely welcome.

Yeah that doesn't look like leopoldi, but leopoldi are really cool. I'm aiming to keep them in the near future.

Alot of young juvenile angelfish look alike but I think it is a young manacapuru, just because the vertical bars match the adult form.
:)
