Amazontanklvr's tank build/blog

Uh, no
You're ordering 25 stems of Ludwigia? You'll be throwing away the same amount in a couple of weeks...
And by that you mean it is growing too fast or it'll all die?

5 stems. Thats 5 stems, not 25 hahaha
It melts bad the first week or so its first planted in the tank. But it grows well after it settles. Propagates very well.

Your listing states fry for the tetras though. Be wary of that size with other fish. May be worth getting a breeding box to house them in until they grow.

Yes. lol
Ok. I'll watch for that. I'll be getting ferts today too (hopefully)

Well. Fry is a relative term. .75-1". Probably wont ship until this following week and my stargrass will be here by then. Unless there is an easy DIY breeder box that you know of/help me with then I will just be plopping them in. :)

You know what i do?

I take a plastic container, maybe a half gallon tote... take a metal skewer and stab holes in all 4 sides, but small. Anything similar will do. Flatten any holes to smoothen out the edges.

Use some crazy glue to attach suction cups to 2 sides. So it can be attached to the corner of the tank.

I keep one as a separater. But its in use holding cory eggs right now. But you can see the holes in the side. Normally id use the steel skewers to hold it in place in the tank, resting the skewers on the tank top. Like i have the smaller cup rigged up in this photo.

HHm. Ok. I'll try that. Just until I feel they're out of harms way.
What about just floating a container on top?
Or maybe I can clip the container to both sides! I think I'll try that.
thanks for the help. :)
Just do daily water changes? (I don't have an air pump)

It says "5 Ludwigia plant stems" per quantity, * 5 that is 25 (just like it says 6 * 2 kerri's)
It can grow very fast. It can literally grow out of your tank. IMO you only need 1... keep the $4

The holes allow filtered water through, but it wouldnt hurt to take a syringe and suck out any debris on the bottom of the container every day or every other. You can place a couple plants in the container too so they have shelter to feel more comfortable

There's only one!
What are you talking about? There is a big sight that says: QUANTITY. And then there are boxes under that go with each item. And in the box next to the Ludwigia had a 1 in it. So five stems.
lol. Ok. Whatever. :PThank you for letting me know it grows fast though. :)

You guys are right, sorry for the confusion.? I can't believe they are selling them for ±1 per stem now. I am still used to them being sold in bundles for $1 or $2.
