Sunlight’s tank journal

Any updates?
No picture updates as of right now! I have moved back to my home town for a month and some days so the move back messed up the tank a little. Then I managed to score some new plants off Facebook marketplace so I needed somewhere to put them so I rescaped my 20 and added most of the plants, then plopped the rest in this tank.I also have some wood water logging in this tank too. It’s a hot mess in there! Hoping to rescape once the wood water logs, then I’ll give a better update!!

that reminds me.... I have two tanks now! I’m about to post a separate thread for my new 20 tall, and I’ll link it in here when I do :)

Okay, so now this tank is going to be a “holding” tank to waterlog some wood and hold some new plants. Once it water logs and I have the time, I’m going to put it back together and make it look back to normal. It just already got messed up from the move, so I figured it was the better place to hold stuff.

Holding tank? I think it looks great, I would call it a natural looking tank.

The 10 redone, I like it much more now. :) the color scheme is very appealing to me, especially in real life. just needs botanicals/tannins and the plants to grow in.

Looks great, if you were local I'd hire you to redo some of my tanks.
Where are you located? ? Honestly that would be my dream job. I’d love to just travel around and work on peoples fish tanks and see tons of cute fish along the way

Did a water change and added 2 amano shrimps, they’re such busy bodies that it’s hard to get pictures of them. One of them is even berried, though I know they won’t hatch in fresh water. It’s still fun to see. Super fun additions to the tank :)

a few new plant additions as well, 3 crypts and rotala

You might want to have a closer look at the green stuff under the shrimp's body, it looks like it might be Ellobiopsidae . Check out This link for more info.
