I would say no to the puffer just because they get very territorial and probably will terrorize the others. The Tiger Barbs need to be in a school of atleast 5 but the more the merrier and I think they would be ok with the other, and the Clown Loaches like to be in groups of about 3. Good luck...

    Suggestions for Eheim filter?

For my Ehiem I stuffed one tray with filter pads and the other tray I filled up with mini lava rocks.

    Gettting new fish

What have you seen that you like, you could either get a single jag or a red devil or go with smaller cichlids and put more in there.

    Cichlids and barbs

I would really have to say it's all hit and miss with the factor being on the fish personality. I've a Green Terror with Tiger Barbs and they were fine but then I have a Texas that was introduced in with some barbs and he bullied his way to his own tank.

It's hard to tell you exactly what you can have in there and how much with out knowing what you want, so do some research see what you like post them here again and people will give you ideas of how many and what's compatible with what.

    New driftwood...new fish?

I don't remember if I suggested these to you but you could try a pair of Sajica cichlids pretty much peaceful and only get around 6" big.

    Electric catfish

I'm pretty sure he is going to start eating the goldfish and if I remember right he will out grow that tank pretty fast especially with a constant supply of food for him.

    Jack Dempsey in a 29 G?

Me personally I wouldn't put a JD in a 29g, if you can't get a bigger tank try a Sajica pair they have great coloration and are very personable.

    3 to 1

Don't get any more cory's take the peppered one back and get another albino one if you're worried about it, but your tank is already stocked enough.

    ceramic caves

I don't think it would be since other people have to store bought pots in their tanks, the glaze shouldn't be a problem either since it basically turns into glass.

    Wondering What Else to Add

I think you could add one fish in there and if you get the ram it might eat the offspring and is a really great looking fish.

Walmart gone to far with this one!!

I agree with you but you're beating a dead bush, and not all Walmarts are like that the one by me is really clean and looks decently healthy but I still wouldn't buy from them.
