I have 3 guppies and a bunch of tetras in my 40 gallon tank. I noticed the female guppy was nipping at the tail of another guppy. Part of that guppy's tail is missing, so I put that one in a hosiptal tank. I thought it was odd that the female guppy would fin nip.

If you had a larger tank I'd say get some clown loaches. They are eating my pond snails!! :dance::dance: Otherwise, I squish them against the glass and the fish love the treat!! The fish cant get there fast enough to chow down. Nips

I vote for taking it off the stand, putting it on the floor and cleaning it, or use a step ladder. I would not want that glass breaking on me, especially if I was in it.

I would also suggest calling your local police department (the non emergency number) and ask them what you can do in this situation. Also mention the situation with store security. I'm sure they can offer you some sound advice.

If you felt creeped out or unsafe, you could have went to store security. I think I would have asked for store security to walk me to my car, or escort me out of the building. Just to make sure the creeps weren't waiting for you outside the building.
