I drilled slate into the bottoms of my wood, i used steel screws is that ok? one of the peices of wood popped out of the slate and started floating again, its been almost 24 hours since i filled it and its still really cloudy..

I have some green lloydea in a 5 gallon with a small no k rating bulb and it grows very well floating at the top. a banan plant would probably do well in there too

I have this problem too, my java moss that i tied to a peice of drift wood is all brown, i think the parts where it is brown is where the plant was hurt.

As of now Ok so its filled, i took out all the flourite and put in the 3 bags of eco complete and sprinkled a bit of flourite on top of it, then filled it, got my filter heater and light set up, driftwood still needs to be placed, it still floated after the boiling so i put the slate back on...

but i wanted to use the eco complete>=/ i guess ill take some of the other stuff out and use it for another tank. if i remopved all the substrate do you think the 60lbs of eco complete would be enough? also, if i was to put in a bag or 2 of eco complete would it be better to mix it or leave it?
