65 gallon LJ project

Very pretty!
DO YOU HAVE A HALF BLACK ANGEL THER???? Those are SUPER rare! Or is that a smoky? (not rare) I cant tell - sorry.
You have very nice angels. Any pairs in there?

Thanks man, no, I don't have a half black angelfish, the specimen you see in the first photo is a smokey angel, and in the second photo you can see my wild scalare angel in the middle of the others. The half black angel is on my wish list, I had it a few months ago but he was killed by an Apistogramma. I have 2 pairs of angels: male smokey and female marble; male koi and female marble, I plan to remove those pairs and try to reproduce them, a couple of weeks ago, the koi X marble pair gave fry but I couldn't get them out.

Oh. I see. You wouldn't get anything spectacular out of the fry but they'd still be nice and would easily sell.
Do you know about half blacks?
Good luck breeding!
Hi, the largest of my angels is 5" approximately, it's close to its maximum size which is 6" as I understand it. The smallest does not exceed 2".
Yes, that is the normal size. On a rare occasion one can push 8 but that I extremely rare.

Currently I don't know anyone who has half black angels here in Mexico, only a breeder in the country's capital, but it's difficult to make a deal with them, hopefully soon or I will have more interesting angels.

After two months of starting this project, today I decided to visit an LFS that I had never been to, it was to my liking and I was FINALLY able to get interesting fish, so here you have them:

Ah, I see. That can be a problem.

Very nice. Raninbows are schoaling species so I'd get atleast one more if/when you get the chance. :)

Anyone have experience with Apistogramma iniridae?? One of my lfs finally did something good and looks like he will have it available in a few days. I've been reading about him and I find him unfortunately an aggressive fish, and I don't want him to have any problems with my Dicrossus. However, it is a fish that is VERY RARELY available, and that is one of the important points that there is for this project.
