When you switch stands the last thing you should do is add fish, your also going to probobly want some filtration and heat for while they are in the bucket, just in case you get called away on something. (They won't last very long like this, but should be fine for a few hours)

thanks, I'll switch the add the fish last. Yeah, I might even keep the fish in my breeding tank instead. If I don't, then I'll put some hang on filters on the container and put in a heater for a while. I looked at the stand link, and found out it takes only 40 hours to build with 1 person so it'll probably take about 30 hours with me and my dad, but we will only work on it for like 3-4 hours a day so it'll take 1-2 weeks.

Got Back from LFS yesterday with 2 assassin snails, a female gold ram, 6 more harlequin rasboras, 30+ feeder danios(for angels), and 4 really nice live plants. I couldn't resist buying them, they were so healthy, and everything.

My LFS also carries green neon tetras and I asked them a few questions about them, and they said they will do fine in my tank as their care requirements are the same as cardinal tetras. So, I will be getting 24 green neon tetras.

My dad was in a really good mood yesterday, and suddenly said,"I will be paying for the whole Co2 System," while we were in the LFS. I was like r u kidding, and he said no. Now, all I have to pay for is the 24 green neon tetras, and 1 koralia 1400gph powerhead which will total ~$100.:D
I can only order the fish when school ends as the shipping is expedited 2-3 day and it can come at any time. I am thinking that if the fish r in the box for 2-3 days, will 4-6 extra hours kill/stress them out even more???
So what should I do for the green neons???

Also, I still don't know on what type of Co2 to get, any suggestions???

*I'll post pics later today of the fish/plants.

So, I finally attached the giant anubias to the piece of DW. I moved all the java fern to my shrimp tank as I am going to sell those, I have got like 40+ new baby java ferns coming and I'll sell them to make up some of my costs.

Dwarf Hairgass(hope it spreads)

No suggestions for anything, Co2, etc.:(

I just checked all my fish today, and saw that 1 of the 16 harlequins that I have was swimming alone at the top of the tank, I netted it and looked more closely and saw that the adult angelfish had bitten the skin on the bottom of the harlequin. The rasbora tried to school with the others but the angelfish kept pursuing it as it was the smallest rasbora/fish in the tank. I have moved the rasbora to my 10 gallon to see how it does. I might add 3 or 4 more small rasboras to help comfort it in there.

I was gonna say, I had angels once, once, and they decimated the neon tetra school i had... poor neons, went to bed all was well, woke up there were 3 left of 12... this was before i came to AC, when I was a moron who overstocked tank by way to much, so the tank was way overstocked (30gal tall, 3 angels, 12 neons, a number of small goldfish, a disaster in the making). Anyway, adult angels will look at smaller fish and think "Oooh, food", so be careful with smaller fish.

Besides that, great tank, I wish you luck, and hope your tank does epicly. And i can't help but want to, um, borrow it. Yes, borrow it... :D

Once you start feeding an angel live foods they have a tendency to look at other tank mates as potential food. IMO using live feeders can help spur on this kind of behavior from the angels. Keep a close eye on them.

Thanks, I just realized that, but sadly the rasbora died while I was at school(i found it when i came home) , I think I'll stop feeding my fish live feeder fish until the schooling fish reach adult size. I am going to the LFS to get a free new fish.

Thanks, some people did say that angels will eat cardinals, but then again, I have heard/seen from a lot of people that angels are compatible with other schooling fish. I don't think I'll let u borrow it.:)

BTW, I am going to take in the large adult koi angel(4-"5") to the LFS for credit, and then buy a smaller angel. I think that will be better as the smaller angels that I will have(4-6) will have been living with the rasboras for a longer period of time and will be used to them as to not attack them. I think that particular rasbora died as the angelfish wasn't used to small fish as I had kept it with other larger fish for a long time(1 year). I hope that there will be no problems after that.
