Any thoughts on the Anthony verdict?

I think that Ms Anthony got off alot easier than she deserved, but the fault of that lies with the DA. If you can't prove how someone died, you certainly can't prove they were murdered, let alone prove it was premeditated. He saw a chance to make a name for himself and all he had to do was get 12 people to ignore the proven facts and vote based on the emotions he attempted to stir up. The jury did the right thing.
Which is why at the very least she should have been charged with negligence. There are many families in DCF (Dept of Children and Families or whatever your state calls it) purview that have lost their children for lesser reasons. Here, failing to report a child missing is considered negligence. Child welfare in this state, is given a very broad brush to paint their case with. (Sometimes it seems to trump the rights of the parents)
I doubt that many people think she's innocent, just not guilty of the charges presented.
you know what i live in west virginia..we get told all the time that we are the dumbest people of any state..but after seeing that verdict..i think those 12 people on that jury are the dumbest people on the planet!!!!! and in my opinion..this was just a repeat of the O.J trial..and again the justice system failed..i guess that poor little Caylee's life was meaningless to those people...
i hope when casey goes to jail for her minor charges somebody kills her in there...cause i say she's guilty...and that's just what she deserves...just my opinion....

i fail to see how not reporting a 3 year old child missing for 31 days is not at least neglect...
It is but you don't seem to understand that she wasn't charged with neglect, she was charged with premeditated murder among other things . The fact that she neglected her child doesn't make her a murderer.
Odds are she's not going to jail. She's been in jail for 3 yrs and should and most likely will get credit for time served.

She was up for Charges of Child Abuse.... amongst murder in the 1st, aggravated manslaughter of a child, charges of child abuse, and the 4 counts of supplying false information to a Law enforcement Official in reference to a missing person.
