Has anyone ever ordered from there? If you have, what were your experiences?

They have a lot of plants that I'm interested in, however my emails have gone unanswered and they don't even have an answering machine on their phone line.

I have used them, and would give them a mixed review. the plants they sent were excellent, I did have some issues with substitutions, and missed plants. I literally spent months trying to get it worked out. Contact was the issue. I couldn't get answers, or discuss issues with anyone. Eventually after about 6 months, they did make everything right plus quite a few bonus plants for my trouble. When it was all said and done they went beyond any obligation they had to me IMO. Given the quality of plants and the fact that they did eventually get things correct and take care of me. I would use them again.

Blargh. I see what you mean about communication problems. I can't get anyone on the phone and no one has answered my email.

Darn! Thing is, I can't find anyone else that carries or intends to carry the plants I want.

Sigh.

This is rediculous. The board code bleeps the word d.a.m.n. but not the word hell? ROFL!

Most of the online stores are ran by individuals who simply love plants, and don't have the resources to provide a full customer experience.

curious, what kind of plants are you looking for? You can probably find most of them on aquabid, it can be a hassle to deal with multiple orders if you're going with alot of variety, but I've had success going through that channel.

My one and only experience with Aquabatonics was far more dissapointing than my experience with Aquariumplants.com. Of the two, The better plants and service were definately Aquariumplants.com. When I tried to contact Aquabatonics about issues I basically got stonewalled openly, and since their shipping policy is difficult to work with for me, I just wrote them off .In the future Ab will not be considered an option for me. Many people give AB good reviews, but I have to wonder what they compared the experience to. If anything Ab made me feel like I was probably too hard on Aquariumplants.com

I had a similar experience as the one that daveedka had with Aquabotonics.
I was disappointed with the quality of the plants that were sent, but the thing that aggravated me the most was that my complaint was met with what I considered to be ridicule. I didn't like the attitude.
I don't intend to flame anybody, but this was my honest experience.

I've ordered 100's of plants and other supplies (Eco Complete, Co2 Equipment, Substrate Ferts) from Aquariumplants.com . Most plants are High Qualilty and I always get my money's worth. I usually make my plant orders on Sunday, it is processed/shipped on Monday, and I recieve my order on Tues or Wed.
Customer service is hit or miss, but for one stop plant shopping on the net, this place has it all and for great prices.

Okay, here are the plants I'm trying to source. I'd rather source them all in one place if I can:

Hydrocharis dubia
Cyperus platystylis
Eleocharis dulcis
Eleocharis retroflexa
Eriocaulon cineteum
Lemna trisulca
Lemna perpusilla
Limnophila aromatica
Limnophila indica
Ludwigia adscendens
Ludwigia octovalvis
Nymphaea dictyophlebia
Nymphaea pubescens
Nymphoides exiliflora
Nymphoides indica
Pistia stratiotes
Aponogeton bullosus
Marsilea angustifolia
Limnophila chinensis
Glossostigma sp
Elatine gratioloides
Ceratophyllum demersum
Ceratopteris thalictroides
Cryptocoryne versteegii
Cryptocoryne ciliata

I hope I didn't duplicate any. I can't even find pictures of many of these on the internet so I'm not 100% sure which ones I really "gotta have". Most should be endemic to PNG and quite a few are listed on AquariumPlants.com as "coming soon".

I did try AquaBid for a few and came up empty.
