Blue's Tang Tank

i droped a light in the water today. i look over at my multi tank that i was messin with, and i see it go sliding in. it sunk in to the bottom and the light turned off after about a second under. i unplugged and took it out. im letting it dry out for the moment, so we are having similar luck i suppose.

I walked in to feed the fish one morning and the light was sitting in the tank. I have no idea how long it was there. I let it sit and dry out for a couple days. It worked but then the switch broke, I don't know if it was related.


Hopefully yours will work again once it dries out.
 
Yeah you did the right thing if not you will have static electricity in your touch for a long time and white streaks in your hair wow.. I hate electricity i made a run one time where a young cable man was killed by electricity seeing a persons blood boil is not a cool site poor guy.. Be careful with that fixture Austin i would toss it..
 
Hey blue i am going to pick up 7 Chalinochromis brichardi (the Masked Cichlid) tomorrow they are right at 3" right now at 5 bucks a pop.. Thanks for the inspiration..

Great pick up! I'm loving mine. They aren't too aggressive at all. One is quite a bit larger than the rest so I believe he's male, the others I'm not sure. I have no idea what pairing behavior looks like but hopefully I end up with a pair.

Hey guys, I've dropped two of my lights in my tanks before. Absolutely nothing happened. Not even a flicker or a zap. I think I just got relly lucky though. Pitt, I'm jealous of the new chali brichardi.
