dissapeaed!

i bought a cleaner shrimp 3 days ago, he seemed to settle in and he found his spot in the tank, but now i havent seen him for two days, could he be hiding for some reason or has something eaten him? his tank mates are a small clown, purple fire goby, 3 snails, blue legged hermit, red hermit, lawnmower blenny and 2 emerald crabs (and whatever other small creatures that live in the rock).

He could just be hiding in the rocks getting used to his surroundings.

He could be hiding because he's about to / has molted.

He's shy.

Give it a few more days. I've had mine for 3 yrs but since changing all my rock work around I've hardly seen them.

What kind of cleaner did you get? The scarlet skunk? Fire/blood? Some are more cryptic than others as well.

thats true. my peppermint shrimp never comes out, while my skunk cleaner shrimp comes out all of the time!!

Its a skunk cleaner shrimp, im just worried coz he seemed to have set up his cleaning station and i saw him eating, thats why i thought something happened to him, coz he seemed really happy. Happy fish, happy me!
