Oolong is my favourite, but I like black as well. I prefer loose leaf to tea bags.
I also like oolong. I am actually sipping a cup of oolong known as monkey picked oolong as I am posting this. This brand is not really picked by monkeys lol. The name refers to its history. Although you can buy tea that is picked by monkeys some places. Monkey picked oolong (whether it is actually picked by monkeys or not) is generally regarded as super high quality oolong tea.

drowning in tea

I have tried a wide variety of teas, joined a tea club, went to tea trade shows,
the whole shabang, and even after all that varietal fuss, I still drink every day;
http://www.amazon.com/Dilmah-Ceylon-Loose-4-4-Ounce-Boxes/dp/B00112GBO0
Ceylon black tea loose, brewed, then iced.
I sweeten it with Spenda and drink it straight,
or to each 8oz cup I'll add an ounce of;
cranberry juice
or
grapefruit juice
or
peach nectar
or
low fat milk
to give it some additional variety and character.
it's much better and cheaper to simply add the juice,
then buy the tea already mixed with dried fruits and spices.

I highly recommend investing in any water filter that reduces chlorine
and chloramines, as it greatly enhances the flavor when brewing teas.

Contrary to popular belief the national drink in Ireland is in fact Tea.

'Irish Breakfast Tea' is probably what its referred to everywhere else. Over here its called eh 'Tea'.

is it blasphemy on the British isles to dislike earl grey?
i find the taste of bergamot to be revolting, even
though I'm fine with other citrus in my teas.

I guess it's a cultural thing
if you grew up around the stuff,
you probably love it.

I'm a die-hard coffee drinker but I still drink Sun Tea when working in the yard or doing something on a hot day. I don't quit drinking coffee, just add tea to my intake, lol.
