greech's Simple 40 Breeder

Oh and the tank is doing great. Got a couple new additions I need to post pics of. Got a what I was told is a gonipora but it has very short polyps so I am not 100% what it is. It almost looks like a leptastrea but the polyps are too circular and defined. Its yellow, green, orange and a gold color (kind of like a rainbow). Also got a single dendrophyllia polyp which I had been wanting for a while.

AND A THIRD VOTE FOR PICS MAKES IT UNANIMOUS.

I give up on taking pictures. They are just little frags so not much to see...

Gonipora that looks like an encrusting leptastrea. There's just no way to get a pic worth anything!!!

Again sorry for the poor quality pics. Next time I will turn off the LED bar and maybe that will bring down the glow :(. Looks great from here though :)

There's a screen. My melenarus wrasse was just squirting water through it at me tonight :).

man, you haven't updated us in a while bud :-)

didn't know you got a midas again.

also, i notice a new tunze powerhead.

what model 6025 or 6015?

wondering how you place it so low without sand going everywhere.

everything looks great man.

Guess it has been a while. I cut my frogspawn since it was getting so big and most of the other corals are Po'd because I turned the daylights on for the pic.

The Tunze is a 6025 with about 3/4 of the shroud cut out to boost the flow. The output points into a gap in the rock that sits about 3" in front of the PH. That helps disperse the flow.

Thinking about swapping the SPS in the center up top. I am really liking euphyillias right now. I've seen some really nice green torches lately with dark blue tips and some crazy yellowish hammers. I've grown those SPS from little buds though. Not sure I can do it.
